WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT
Our Connections Team is just inside the main entrance and they are ready to welcome you home, answer any questions you may have, and guide you to where you need to go.
Ushers are available just inside the auditorium ready to help you feel right at home. Let them know how many people are with you, and they will guide you to the best seat(s) available.
Dress comfortably. One of the things you’ll notice about Life Church is that people are free to be themselves. You’ll feel right at home wearing anything from jeans and tennis shoes to wingtips and business suits.
We would love the opportunity to meet you. Our pastors make themselves available after services in the main foyer and in their ministry areas. If you have any questions during your visit, ask anyone with a nametag or visit the Info Center.
Children ages 5 through grade 5 sit with their families during the music of the 11:00 a.m. contemporary service. The children are then dismissed to Children’s Church with great Bible teaching and fun interaction using Think Orange curriculum.
Jesus was called a “Nazarene” because His small and poor hometown was Nazareth. It was looked down upon by many at the time. In John 1:46, Nathaniel asked, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip responded, “Come and see.” Jesus made room for the poor and lowly, and at Life Church we endeavor to follow Christ’s example by making room for people of every status and background and humbly serving the Watertown area. We invite you to “Come and see.”
At Life Church of the Nazarene everyone is welcome, and everyone can find hope and healing through Jesus Christ. Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. We identify with his humility and attitude of sacrificial service .
At Life Church, we encourage people to serve their church and community with their God-given talents and abilities. We serve through a wide array of ministries ranging from worship, music, local benevolence, Grow Groups(also known as Sunday School), Wednesday night basketball, Vacation Bible School, Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Mission Trips, Men's Breakfasts, Soccer Camps and more. As people experience the Grace of God, they grow and serve in deeper and more meaningful ways.
We are a Church not afraid to try new things, to go new places, and explore new ideas. We are also unashamed to say that we endeavor to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, which do not change. God is always doing incredible things in our world, in our community, and in our lives. We live to be a part of his plan. We want to show the World that God can grow saints from the people of the Watertown area, and use them to share the love of Christ with the world.
